KODAK PROFESSIONAL Color Management Check-Up Kit

Keep Your Colors in Check with the KODAK PROFESSIONAL Color Management Check-Up Kit

The KODAK PROFESSIONAL Color Management Check-Up Kit helps you determine how accurately your monitors and printers reproduce color.

Inside the Check-Up Kit you'll find:
  • Seven sample prints created using a correctly calibrated and color managed KODAK PROFESSIONAL RP 30 Laser Printer on KODAK PROFESSIONAL SUPRA ENDURA Color Paper.
  • Electronic copies of the sample images (TIFF files on a CD-ROM) together with the appropriate ICC color profiles.
  • Generic color profiles for a selection of KODAK and other equipment manufacturers' photographic printers and materials.
  • A comprehensive color guidance document that explains how to configure your systems and applications for optimum color reproduction.
What the Kit will do for Your Lab
With the tools in the Check-Up Kit, you can:
  • Evaluate the accuracy of images displayed on your computer monitor.
  • Evaluate the accuracy of prints made on your photographic printer(s).
  • Improve the color accuracy of your Workflow using the supplied generic profiles.
Improving Workflow Color Accuracy
After you have evaluated the individual components of your workflow, you may decide to take one or more of the following steps:
  • If you are not currently using a color managed workflow, you may see an improvement if you enable color management and use generic color profiles from your equipment/material supplier. Typically, this will give more predictable results than if you had not been using any color management. A selection of generic profiles for KODAK materials and a range of common photographic output devices are included on a resource CD that comes with each kit. Please be sure to read the notes that go with the profile to ensure that your output device is properly calibrated.
